Reservations Specialist – Full Time - Immediate Hiring
Drivergent Transportation is a Metro Detroit school transportation company looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team in transporting students and customers.
As a Reservations Specialist for Drivergent Transportation, you will work with our management team to assist our clients transportation needs, and help shape and drive our continued growth strategy and meet/exceed customer service expectations.
General Responsibilities
- Assist customers in making reservations, including the quoting and booking the transportation
- Provide excellent customer service by being timely with the quote and associated follow-ups
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a great customer experience
- Process reservations and make any necessary modifications
- Map out and work with dispatch department to ensure accurate and efficient allocation of resources
- Handle customer inquiries/concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Assist with post trip processes, including customer follow-up and invoicing
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience.
- Reservation handling experience a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college a plus
- High proficiency in using computers and programs such as Chrome, Microsoft Excel and Word, Outlook, and Google Earth
- Experience using QuickBooks
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently or with a team, manage ambiguity and ask for guidance when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills are required, both written and verbal

Compensation & Benefits
- $18 - $23 per hour, based on experience
- Full-Time
